Old fans of the 850 series interface will rejoice with this latest newcomer voice-activated navigation and lane assist with junction view. The Garmin Nuvi 855 is an upgraded version of the Garmin 850, with all of the latter’s features still present, but a host of functions have been improved. Garmin also offers an enhanced model, the Garmin Nuvi 855T, with MSN Direct Services and Bluetooth wireless technology. Garmin’s impressive speech recognition technology is critically acclaimed as it has set the industry standard for car GPS models. Drivers can keep their eyes on the road by simply using the push-to-talk wireless remote attached to the steering wheel without ever touching the unit.

It is preloaded with plenty of street maps and points of interests, stating various exits, intersections, key road signs and junctions to put drivers on the right lane for faster routing.
Drivers can be guaranteed of a worry-free ride to their destination with the ‘Where am I” function, which gives users their precise location in coordinates.
