Knowing The Signs and Symptoms of Cancer May Mean Early Treatment

Diagnosing cancer in its early stages is important for a successful treatment. Being very familiar with your body will make it easier to spot any possible symptoms that may occur as soon as possible. Changes that you may notice can be linked to the early stages of a cancer.

Being aware of your body will help you notice if any unexplained lumps do appear so you can report them quickly. Lumps that are cancerous may not be painful. Having any lumps checked quickly is a way to catch something that could be a danger but most lumps are not related to cancer.

A nagging cough and breathlessness or hoarseness can be caused by many things like infections and inflammations but sometimes it is due to lung cancer. To be safe it is best to report these symptoms if they have persisted for more than a couple weeks. Consult your doctor if you have any cancer treatment or symptoms of colon cancer.

If the stool becomes different in color than normal like excessively dark or very red or has blood this could be a danger symptom and needs to be looked into. Bleeding is a danger symptom and if there is no real reason for it to happen it must be reported to your health care professional. Nose bleeds and bruises are rarely cancer signs but if they are accompanied by other symptoms they need to be checked out. The first thing you should is call your doctor if you have bladder cancer symptoms.

Moles do not mean skin cancer but should be checked to be safe.  If you are losing weight and do not know why it is best to have a consultation with your health care professional to be sure it is not cancer related. The best thing to keep in mind is that if you notice something about your body that does not seem right or gives you reason for concern, let your doctor know as quickly as possible. Remember, the earlier you report a symptom the better your chances of curing the cancer.

*Contact your doctor if you have any medical issues, this is not medical advise*
