Whats there to do in Kona for a Cali girl?

Im planning to move to Kailua Kona later this year with my best friend, we’re both born and raised in Cali and we’re just wondering what to expect. Is anything the same? Stores…restraunts…drugs stores ect…normal stuff. I need a part time job, but I have NOO idea what Kona is like so I wouldn’t know what kind of businesses are there.
